BLINK BLINK BZZZ BZZZ…!
Technologies that affect our bodies have changed massively over the course of the 20th century, influencing the way we perceive our bodies. From smart watches and glasses to glowing or vibrating garments, we are already moving towards the “smart skin”. But what functions do we actually want in the future from technologies that come very close to our bodies? What role can they play in our everyday lives? In this E-Textile workshop we speculate on possible and impossible future scenarios and design fictional wearables that can support us in various situations.
